Hi all,
It’s been a while, this article is a big complicated one, it doesn’t follow my usual formula for posts but be patient. If you are here because you searched for an issue with Procurve switches and Microsoft NLB it will make enough sense to you.
This is a very early revision of this whitepaper so be patient and feel free to email me for corrections.

Hi all, this one comes with a disclaimer, i did not write this one, this is Kaseya’s property, i see on Kaseya’s community a lot of posts asking how to use SNMP properly. It is a tricky and difficult technology to implement at the best of times, but i find people are quick to dismiss Kaseya’s implementation of SNMP monitoring without considering the protocols intricacies itself.
Kaseya’s implementation of SNMP is graceful enough, the only person to blame for not knowing how to use it is yourself. Understand SNMP INTIMATELY before trying to use Kaseya. When you understand it, then read this document in conjunction with mine.
